Palm Beach Maker Camp featured in Palm Beach Post!

Featured in the Palm Beach Post was the third week of Maker Camp at the South Florida Science Center, co-sponsored by the Science center and Palm Beach LED Makerspace. This camp session featured Introduction to Robotics with LEGO Mindstorms where campers created robotic vehicle to simulate the Mars Rover and the self driving Google Car. Palm Beach LED intends to hold future camps and classes in the fall with other age groups and course materials supported. Location is still to be confirmed but likely to be at the South Florida Science Center.

Pierre Baillargeon

Pierre Baillargeon is an engineer from South Florida who holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, having graduated from Florida Atlantic University in August of 2005. Pierre currently works as a Robotics Engineer at a non-profit biomedical research organization and is known to enjoy photography, gadgets and skillfully constructed pizza.
